I found a paper in Home for Christmas Paper Pack from La-La Land Crafts, that is now discontinued and decided to use part for my Let's Craft and Create card and part for this card! So I have outlined the cut paper with my Copics C4 and then adhered to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.
To finish the card, I popped up the coloured image with foam tape.

Here is another photo of the card:

Things with Wings for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #224 on the 5th of October, 2025

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Things with Wings

I was thinking of making a card with some flowers and butterflies, but then I came across a paper from Home for Christmas by La-La Land Crafts for my LPOCF card and on the other side there were some beautiful birds, so I re-designed this card using some die cuts that I already had from making cards from the La-La Land Crafts Virtual Christmas Cards Class from 2024
So, here is my card:

Most of the products used on this card are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:
The cardinal and centre of the poinsettia were coloured with the following Copics:
  • red - R24, R27, R39
  • beak/centre - YR24
  • feet - E19
  • black - C9
  • eye - C4
I also outlined the paper in C4.

The paper was adhered to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions and then the olive branches adhered with Art Glitter glue. I unfortunately dropped the first branch on the card and it left a bunch of little drops of glue! So I added another olive branch, adhered the poinsettia and the cardinal before using White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops to adhere a few Iridescent Clear Drops by Pinkfresh Studio. I also added a few extra drops of the Nuvo Glitter Drops!

Here is a photo of the layout before I adhered everything:

Here is a photo from the side, showing the dimension:

I would like to enter this card into a few challenges:
Classic Design Challenge #09-2025 Sep/Oct - Anything Goes with Optional Twist: Trees and/or Leaves - I have some branches with leaves!

Lots of Layers for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #223 on the 5th of September, 2025

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Lots of Layers

I started making this card for one of my other challenges, but then realised it would be perfect for this challenge! So I have made another card from the La-La Land Crafts Virtual Christmas Cards Class from 2024 using some of my products from La-La Land Crafts! So, here is my card:

This is Irina's design and all the products used on this card are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:
The hamster and Marci were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card and coloured with the following Copics and Prismacolour pencils:
  • Copics - E000, E00, E13, E21, E23, BG72, BG75, YR21, YR23, YR24, C1, C3, C5, R20, R21, R22, R24, R27, R85, G06, G07
  • Prismacolour pencils - PC911 Olive Green, PC912 Apple Green, PC924 Crimson Red, PC925 Crimson Lake, PC935 Black, PC936 Slate Grey, PC939 Peach, PC941 Light Umber, PC943 Burnt Ochre, PC945 Sienna Brown, PC948 Sepia, PC1033 Mineral Orange, PC1034 Goldenrod, PC1054 50% Warm Grey, PC1082 Chocolate, PC1088 Muted Turquoise, PC1090 Kelp Green
I also used white gel pen on the images.

Here are some photos of the images after colouring but before fussy cutting and adhering to the card:

I stamped the sentiment from Christmas Cheer Clear Stamp Set using Nautical Blue Memento ink and my MISTI and then trimmed it with my scissors.

Here is a photo of the inside of the card:

I unfortunately made a little boo boo with the folding of the inside of the pockets, so there is a bit of a gap, but that is OK!
Here are some photos from the side, showing the layers:

Polka Dots and/or Stripes for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #222 on the 5th of August, 2025

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Polka Dots and/or Stripes

I made a very quick birthday card for my Mum using a design that was sent to my email from Cards by Kendra and then paper and die from La-La Land Crafts and sentiments from Power Poppy! So, here is my card:

So the products are:
I used my paper cutter to cut 2" x 3" rectangles of the paper, then I cut them into triangles. The edges of each triangle were (I can't think of the word, nor the tool!) roughed up. I then adhered the triangles to a piece of pearl cardstock using score tape (it seemed easier to line up then using glue).

Here is a photo before adhering to the card:

I stamped the sentiment using Elderberry Memento ink and my MISTI and then one of the Rounded Stitched Rectangles Die to die cut the sentiment piece.

I adhered the pearl cardstock with the triangles to the white card from Envelope Solutions and then attached the sentiment piece with foam tape.

Here is a photo from the side, showing the sentiment piece popped up:

I would like to enter this card into a few challenges:
Classic Design Challenge #07-2025 Jul/Aug - Anything Goes with Optional Twist: Sun, Sand or Surf
Mix It Up Challenge MIUCB #78 - Anything Goes + optional Mixed Media - I was a top pick last month!

Here is my card:

Our sponsor for this challenge is Star Stampz:

Prize is 3 images

I chose Spring Bumble Bee, which have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending card and die cut with the Double Stitched Rectangles Die from La-La Land Crafts, before colouring with the following Copics markers:
  • skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
  • eyes - B16, white gel pen
  • hair/yellow - Y13, Y15, Y19, E13,YR24

  • background - G40, G43, colourless blender
As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

To add a little sparkle, I used ink on 3 Liquid Pixie Dust on the wings, crown, flower and then the trails. It was the first time I used it and I think I was a little heavy handed! The wings of the bee took a while to dry!

Here is a close up of the colouring, after I added the Pixie Dust:

To finish the card, I used the Honeycomb Stencil Set from the Winnie the Pooh Release earlier in the year by La-La Land Crafts with Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.

Here is a photo of the card after I stencilled it:

Before adhering the image to the card, I stamped the sentiment from Just Bee-Cause Clear Stamp Set also from La-La Land Crafts using Nautical Blue Memento ink.
